Andressa Urach
Andressa Urach was just fifteen when she began her affair Tiago Cost. After three months of dating, they moved in with him. Arthur Urach Costa, born May 19, 2005, was the sole child of the couple. Six years later the couple split in the aftermath of marital disputes. Andressa Urach then went to live with her son at her mother's home. In six months, Andressa Urach was fired and had to leave her child in the care of his father. The main aim of her life was to have a better and happier life and a better life in Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri, Para Viver her experiences with inflicted sexual abuse when she was a kid. The author was the victim from the age two to eight of abuse by the grandfather she adopted. The only way she was able to escape from this was getting out of this mess since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the act and Andressa went back to stay with her mother. She didn't know about the abuse she endured until Andressa published her book. In interviews that she achieved what would have been impossible prior to her spiritual conversion: Forgiving her abusive partner. In one of my hardest decision, I called the person who had hurt me sexually. This was no easy feat. After a lot of prayer and fasting I said via phone that I forgive him, and while I didn't feel guilty I also asked to forgive him. But I did ask forgiveness, without even justifying my actions. Mariste Urach explains in an interview for Globo how she felt when she learned of the abuse her daughter had suffered.
