Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1, 1995, on the streets of Berkeley California) is an actress. She is an actress from America that has appeared in Choices (2010) as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).
Asia Argento began her career as an actress at the age of nineteen in Rome. Her family also comprises of film makers. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. The film featured her as Nanni's daughter. next season in Red Wood Pigeon. It was her acting career that truly took off with Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido. Cannes International Film Festival was a great movie's success. Daria Argento and her mother and one of the actors who was a favorite of Argento's, Daria, played an anorexic teenager searching for the killer of her parents in Trauma. Asia was a part of Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third movie she made with her dad. Other films were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. The year 1993 was the first time she was a co-star in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista in which she performed the role of Arianna a physically challenged girl. This role was complex and difficult, securing recognition from David di Donatello as best actor. In 1995, she worked together with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration earned her the David di Donatello prize and the Grolla d'oro. The first short film Asia made was an episode in the De Generazione movie. Two years following, Asia became a director and made two more films. One of them was AbelAsia was a homage to her dad. Asia made her debut as a director in 1999 when she directed Scarlet Diva. The film was also the lead screenwriter and actor. The film was released in May 2000 across Italy and the rest of the world. The film was awarded an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
